I’d say the reason for Elvis laying on the stage is because the stage seems very high and he wouldn’t have been able to reach the lady had he just kneeled down on the stage.

Catherine I appreciate you sharing and your honesty about the bloopers as well.

I’ve been to Graceland about 4 times during my life and the last over 20 years ago now.

Your observations about peoples reactions are so true but until your post I thought maybe it was just the groups we toured with. Interesting how people react.

Love your podcast. I was 32 years old when Elvis died. I never liked the impersonaters, but the one that won the contest on TV recently looked so much like him, I couldn’t keep from liking him. When I first heard your bloopers, I was sad to hear Elvis talk that way, but of course I’m human and I laughed at some of them, but it made me feel weird. My husband and I went this summer to Memphis/Graceland. It’s funny when you go in, everyone is very quiet and reverent.
It seems sort of sacred. It was my third time to go. I still cry when I see a video of him, especially the last concert when he sings and plays the piano, I can’t think of the name of the song, but I can hear the words though. Didn’t mean to write a book. Keep up the good work, and bringing us all the special memories.

Hey, I thought your podcast was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

Also I do not blame you for not having those bloopers anymore on the site. MY feelings are your feelings and you just touched my heart with everything you were saying about Elvis.

I have loved E since the age of 4 and I am 38 now soo that is how long E has been in my life.

I got a question. Where is this book that you were talking about that you were giving away? I wanted to see if it is one that I have or a different one.

Also I entered the contest for the decanters. Would love to have one of these no matter how much shipping I would have to pay if I won one.
